Job summary

Phoenix Home Care and Hospice is seeking a detail-oriented Billing and Collections specialist to ensure timely claims submission and accurate processing in a fast-paced Revenue Cycle Management environment. This role emphasizes professionalism, accountability, and adherence to HIPAA while coordinating with peers and administration.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Medicaid regulations, claim follow-up, and knowledge of payer rules, with the ability to multitask and work

Qualifications

• Previous experience in billing/collections preferred.
• Self-motivated
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Ability to multitask and stay organized
• Willing to take on new tasks
• Operate standard office equipment
• Basic bookkeeping skills
• Ability to communicate and work well with others
• Maintain a professional, courteous attitude
• Experience with medical billing and/or medical payer rules

Responsibilities
