Qualifications

• Desirable qualifications include excellent customer service, teamwork and motivational skills, and knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Duties require intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Knowledge of GAAP procedures; GASB pronouncements; governmental accounting and budgeting; principles of electronic data processing; principles of policy formulation; statistical methods; principles of finance; business law; principles of business management; uniform accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and evaluate workload of the Billing Analysis and Master Data Section staff to ensure timely processing of billings.
• Review billing records and reconcile receivable general ledger balances.
• Manage reconciliation of external/internal customer balances and GL accounts for GAAP reporting.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and day-to-day direction to staff.
• Implement process improvements within billing/recovery functions.
