SHAZAM Network - ITS, Inc. in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Billing Analyst to join our team. You will manage complex billing operations, ensure billing accuracy, and support financial reporting.

• Minimum of 7 years of bookkeeping, billing, accounting, or related financial operations experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with billing systems, reconciliations, audits, and accounts receivable processes preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, analyze complex data, and collaborate effectively across departments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain billing accuracy by researching, analyzing, and resolving billing discrepancies, adjustments, and special pricing arrangements.
• Administer customer pricing incentives, billing configurations, and service specifications to ensure accurate invoicing and compliance with contractual agreements.
• Conduct billing audits and monitor exception reports related to fees, taxes, customer accounts, and billing processes.
• Lead sales tax compliance efforts, including tax calculations, filings, and periodic reviews of tax matrices and billing practices.
• Prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and support accounts receivable activities.
• Maintain current procedures and documentation, support cross-functional training initiatives, and provide operational backup coverage as needed.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Legal, and other internal teams to ensure billing integrity, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.

This is a hybrid position (3 days in office) based out of our Des Moines, IA office.

What We’re Looking For
