Job summary

Brevard Skin and Cancer Center seeks a detail-oriented Billing Specialist in Dermatology to join a fast-paced, family-oriented team. The role requires expertise in eligibility checks, charge entry, payment posting and accounts receivable, with strong insurance knowledge and EMR experience (Allscripts preferred).

Ideal candidates will have excellent communication, multitasking skills, and a professional, patient-focused approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–2 years of billing experience with eligibility and charge entry.
• Strong knowledge of insurance policies, eligibility requirements, and billing codes.
• EMR experience, Allscripts preferred.
• Dermatologic terminology a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with timely, high-quality results.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Courteous, friendly, compassionate, professional teamwork.
• Diligence and attention to detail.

We are seeking a detailed and proactive Billing Specialist- Dermatology to become a part of our team! We are seeking someone with a broad knowledge of billing processes including eligibility ,charge entry, payment posting and AR. Working on process that ensure accurate billing, and working closely with insurance providers, healthcare providers, and patients to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to billing. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a deep understanding of healthcare billing processes.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience with billing specifically eligibility and charge entry
• Strong knowledge of insurance policies, eligibility requirements, and billing codes
• EMR experience required, Allscripts a plus
• Dermatologic terminology a plus
• Efficiently manage and prioritize multiple tasks to ensure timely completion and high-quality results
• Excellent customer service skills
