Job summary

Bruker is looking for a full-time Assembly Technician to join our team in Washington. The role involves quality inspection of incoming parts and assembly of mechanical and electrical components, requiring a high degree of hand-eye coordination. Responsibilities
  • Inspect quality of incoming parts.
  • Assemble mechanical and electrical parts and sub-assemblies.
  • Occasionally perform light machine shop duties such as operating drills, sanders, and material cutting equipment.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and organization of work area.
  • Read and decipher schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
  • Clean and maintain equipment, including tools.
  • Prepare work to be accomplished by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Verify specifications by measuring completed component.
  • Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
  • Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
Qualifications
  • AA degree or higher required; training will be provided. Assembly experience is a plus.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed engineering drawings and process specifications is a strong plus.
  • High degree of hand‑eye coordination and finger dexterity.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and ask for guidance when appropriate.
  • Must be reliable and commit to a consistent schedule.
  • Ability to receive feedback and take action when appropriate.
  • Ability to work well with others.

At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full‑time position is between $51,300 and $91,000 and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on several job‑related factors, including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job‑related knowledge and travel requirements for this position. Full‑time employees may also be eligible for a performance‑related incentive in addition to a full range of benefits including 401(k) with company match, an employee stock purchase plan, medical and dental plans, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability insurance, employee assistance program and paid time off including vacation, sick time and holidays, and more.
