Job summary

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or college coursework preferred.
• First aid, CPR, Emergency behavior intervention certifications encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines applicable to this position.
• Report serious incidents and daily activities to the Shelter Manager.
• Assist with shift schedules and staff assignments to ensure safety.
• Monitor and delegate daily facility operations tasks during shifts.
• Supervise interactions of children to promote positive behavior.
• Plan, organize and supervise activities per daily schedule.
