Job summary

GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY in Alaska seeks a bilingual Workforce Development Coordinator I/II/III to provide career services, assess participants, coach on resumes and interview skills, and connect job seekers with employers.

Responsibilities include maintaining caseloads, referrals, documentation, and collaboration with the Career Development team to improve employability and employment outcomes for Alaska Native and American Indian participants in Anchorage.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Yup'ik is required.
• Bachelor's or higher preferred with relevant workforce development experience.
• Experience in case management, employment counseling or workforce development is a plus.
• Familiarity with Alaska job market and interviewing techniques is preferred.
• Valid Alaska driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an active participant caseload and accurate documentation.
• Provide job placement services by screening and referring job seekers to employers.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of job seekers' interests, work history and education.
• Deliver career coaching including resume writing and interview preparation.
• Support evacuated applicants from Western Alaska with navigation to services and employment in Anchorage.
• Maintain participant databases with demographics, goals and outcomes.
