Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program seeks a Transporter Specialist for the La Jornada program to coordinate transportation and physically escort unaccompanied youth across states as they reunite with sponsors. You will travel 40-50% for reunification efforts and ensure safety in transit throughout the day.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish skills, strong organization, and the ability to work with diverse populations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with at-risk youth preferred.
• Excellent time management and organization skills required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish fluency required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation for youth in transit to scheduled and emergency appointments.
• Transport youth safely, escort them, and supervise during travel.
• Coordinate medical and clinical transport with staff and nurses.
• Maintain transport rosters, logs, and equipment, and report vehicle issues.
