Doc Wayne Youth Services in Boston area seeks a Spanish-speaking master's level clinician (licensed or license-eligible) to provide DBT sport-based group therapy to diverse youth in schools and community settings.

The clinician will travel to multiple locations, provide evening appointments, and support other clinical programs with supervision toward licensure. The salary ranges from $53,000 to $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus strong benefits.

Formación

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field
• Ability to deliver services effectively in both Spanish and English (bilingual proficiency required)
• Ability to confidently lead a group of youth through experiential exercises targeted at enhancing emotional wellbeing
• Cultural awareness and humility with understanding of how oppression impacts mental health in low-income communities
• Previous athletic/coaching experience preferred
• Dynamic energy and belief in the power of sports to benefit children
• Team player dedicated to serving as a caring adult and role model to underserved youth
• Disposition towards school/community involvement and engagement
• Experience working with youth (experience with traumatized youth preferred)
• Superior interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task efficiently
• Ability to think out of the box, share ideas, and get involved
• Support special projects as assigned

Responsabilidades

• Provide group therapy (primarily DBT sport-based groups) to youth in English and Spanish
• Conduct psychosocial assessments, outreach, and intakes for English and Spanish-speaking families
• Maintain individual and/or family therapy caseload as assigned
• Travel to multiple locations to provide clinical services as assigned

• Work professionally and collaboratively with all partners
• Keep clinical records that are accurate, current, and meet regulations
• Refer and consult with supervisor about service level changes or transfers as needed
