Job summary

Kenneth Young Center is seeking a Bilingual Community Collaboration Project Associate to support youth-focused, LGBTQ+ and BIPOC-centered programming in Schaumburg, IL. The role drives prevention initiatives, community engagement, and youth leadership development, with strong emphasis on collaboration and culturally relevant outreach.

Responsibilities include coordinating committees, delivering workshops, translating for clients, and manage data reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social services, education, or a related field is desirable.
• 2 years' experience working with youth (ages 11-18) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement prevention activities with youth participants.
• Coordinate youth-led and community-led workgroups and events.
• Conduct educational workshops and presentations.
• Assist with community outreach at health fairs, festivals, and events.
• Provide translations for clients and families as needed.
• Collect data, complete reports, and support program evaluation.
• Travel between offices and to community locations as required.
• Attend mandated trainings and participate in professional development.
