Job summary
Catholic Community Services and Catholic Housing Services is hiring Peer Counselors (Youth Partners) to support youth and families in South King County, serving Burien and Tukwila. Roles include engaging youth with lived experience to inform treatment planning, delivering services in homes and communities, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.
The position requires a high school diploma, bilingual Spanish/English abilities, a valid driver's license, and flexibility to travel to
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Personal lived experience as a youth who received services within the past ten years.
- Bi-lingual fluency in Spanish and English.
- Ability to drive to youth and family homes and in the community with reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Youth Partners collaborate to support youth and families in behavioral health services.
- Help youth express their perspective and ensure team members understand it for treatment planning.
- Provide services in home and community settings and coordinate with partners.
