Job summary

Xiente in Philadelphia is seeking a Youth Counselor to mentor and support youth ages 10-19 through the IPS 54K Program. You will provide counseling, advocacy, and family engagement to help youth overcome challenges and build healthy futures.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed practice, bilingual communication in Spanish and English, and collaboration with schools and community partners to connect families with resources.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Human Services, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience working with youth and adolescents.
• Experience with counseling, case management, behavioral health, or youth development programming.
• Experience working with at‑risk, underserved, or justice‑involved youth strongly preferred.
• Experience facilitating groups and family engagement activities.
• Fluent Spanish and English bilingual communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

Make a Difference Through Counseling

• Provide individual counseling and support services to youth.

Monday-Friday | 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

• One monthly Family Engagement event (6:00 PM-7:00 PM)
• Occasional evening community activities as needed
