Job summary

Surge Staffing seeks a Bilingual Workforce Manager to oversee staffing operations for a major client in Texas. The role focuses on building strong relationships with clients and employees in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will recruit, onboard, schedule, and place temporary staff while monitoring performance, attendance, and quality. Fluency in English and Spanish is required; travel to client sites may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required; speak, read, and write in both languages.
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience preferred.
• 1–2 years supervisory experience or 3–5 years in staffing, recruiting, customer service, sales, or related industry.
• Experience in staffing, branch management, workforce management, or supervisory roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with clients to understand staffing needs and provide qualified talent.
• Manage recruiting, scheduling, onboarding, orientation, and placement of temporary staff.
• Match employee skills with client requirements to ensure quality placements.
• Build and maintain client relationships through communication and customer service.
• Conduct client meetings and address staffing concerns or service issues.
• Support business development through client outreach, presentations, and staffing opportunities.
• Present workforce solutions including HR services, payroll, and training.
• Monitor attendance, performance, productivity, and quality standards.
• Coach and recognize temporary employees to improve engagement and retention.
• Coordinate with vendors and supervise Workforce Staffing Specialists as needed.
• Step in to perform staffing, recruiting, supervisory, and workforce management duties as necessary.
