LEGACY LEGAL RECRUITING LLC in Miami, FL is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Paralegal to join a growing legal team. This role supports attorneys from intake through resolution and requires attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of workers' compensation paralegal experience, is bilingual in English and Spanish, and can manage a high-volume caseload while coordinating with clients, carriers, and court personnel using Microsoft

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of workers' compensation paralegal experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Strong understanding of Florida workers' compensation procedures and practices.
• Experience supporting attorneys with discovery, hearings, depositions, and mediations preferred.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys in the management of workers' compensation cases from intake through settlement or hearing.
• Prepare, review, and file legal documents, including petitions, motions, discovery, and settlement documents.
• Maintain and organize case files, medical records, and claim-related documentation.
• Communicate regularly with clients, insurance carriers, medical providers, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and other case-related activities.
• Track deadlines and ensure timely filings and case progression.
• Review medical records and assist with case evaluations.
• Draft correspondence and case summaries for attorney review.
• Maintain accurate case notes and updates within the case management system.
