Job summary

Crown Roofing is seeking an experienced Waterproofing Superintendent to lead commercial waterproofing projects across South Florida, including Miami and Pompano Beach. This hands-on role manages crews and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in construction or waterproofing, strong drawing-reading skills, and the ability to navigate project schedules while maintaining budgets. Must be bilingual English/Spanish and able to travel locally.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction and/or waterproofing experience.
• Previous experience supervising waterproofing crews or commercial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of waterproofing systems, materials, membranes, coatings, sealants, and installation methods.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
• Strong leadership and crew-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple jobs, priorities, and deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Working knowledge of construction safety requirements and OSHA standards.
• Comfortable using construction management software, scheduling tools, email, and Microsoft Office.
• Must complete OSHA 30 within the first 90 days of employment.
• Valid Florida driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Ability to travel locally throughout the Miami/Pompano Beach/South Florida market.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations for commercial waterproofing projects.
• Lead and supervise waterproofing crews, laborers, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and project schedules.
• Review plans, specifications, drawings, and project requirements.
• Ensure waterproofing installations meet manufacturer, project, and quality standards.
• Monitor labor and material usage to keep projects on or below budget.
• Conduct regular jobsite inspections and identify potential problems before they impact the project.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other trades.
• Troubleshoot field conditions, installation issues, and design discrepancies.
• Enforce company safety requirements and applicable OSHA standards.
• Ensure employees use required PPE and follow safe work practices.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, photos, and other project documentation.
• Track project progress and communicate schedule or production concerns.
• Assist with material selection and ensure materials are available when needed.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and project stakeholders.
• Complete additional responsibilities as assigned by management
