Job summary

Souto Foods in Port St. Lucie, FL seeks a seasoned Warehouse Leader to direct planning and execution of all warehouse activities, ensuring safety, accuracy, and efficiency across receiving, storage, and shipping.

You will manage budgets, collaborate on WMS implementations, and partner with HR and IT to drive continuous improvement of SQF-compliant operations, staffing, and cost controls. Bi-lingual English/Spanish is required.

Qualifications

• Bi-lingual English/Spanish required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5–7 years progressive warehouse management experience.
• Strong communication and analytical skills, and knowledge of logistics.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee small to large warehouse projects including shipping and receiving.
• Collaborate with business personnel to drive WMS implementation and support.
• Coordinate inventory control, receiving, storage, shipping, and sanitation.
• Assist in formulating the labor budget for department activities.
• Provide input for warehouse procedures, layouts, and equipment standards.
• Work with category managers, sales reps, and customers to ensure quality.
• Partner with the parent company to ensure compliance with SQF and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate special projects and stay abreast of industry trends in supply chain management.
• Develop policies to improve operations and measure performance with IT leadership.
• Staff development through HR collaboration and training initiatives.
• Formulate and execute warehouse strategies aligned with corporate metrics.
• Build and mentor a team aligned with the company mission.
• Create a safe work environment through training and engagement.
• Support career development and cross-training for warehouse personnel.
