Job summary

Urban One is seeking a bilingual Video Editor to produce high-quality content in English and Spanish. You will edit raw footage into polished videos that meet brand standards and engage diverse audiences, collaborating with the Television Program Director, content creators, marketing teams, and project managers.

You’ll ensure linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance, integrate graphics and sound, manage multiple projects to tight deadlines, and adapt content for social media across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish with a strong editing portfolio.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, or similar tools.
• Fluency in English and Spanish with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Understanding of video formats, codecs, and digital workflows.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw video footage into finished products aligned with briefs and brand guidelines.
• Translate and adapt video content for linguistic accuracy and cultural appropriateness in both English and Spanish versions.
• Collaborate with creative teams to incorporate graphics, animations, sound effects, and music to enhance video quality.
• Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high production standards.
• Review and revise video edits based on feedback from stakeholders to ensure final approval.
