Job summary
Pegasus Tech Ventures in San Jose, CA seeks a Japanese & English bilingual Partner to drive investments and strategic partnerships in global markets. This senior role blends VC expertise with deep technology insight, working from our Silicon Valley HQ.
You will source leading startups, perform due diligence, model investments, and coordinate business development with global corporations and LPs in Japan. Fluency in Japanese and English, MBA or equivalent, and 10+ years of high-level startup/VC
Qualifications
- 10+ years of startup/VC founding, management, or executive experience.
- MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred; Bachelor's degree required.
- Native level Japanese speaking, reading, and writing.
- Business-level English language proficiency.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects with strong analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Source category leading startups for investment and partnership opportunities.
- Conduct due diligence, financial analysis, and modeling of potential investments.
- Monitor portfolio financial performance and support business development with global companies.
- Coordinate communications with investors/LPs in Japan and with prospective clients.
