Community Action is seeking a Community Resource Advocate II to manage equitable allocation of utility assistance resources for Washington County residents. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 6+ months customer service experience.
• Fully bilingual (verbal and written) in Arabic, Chinese, Farci, Russian, Somali, or Spanish.
• Intermediate computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and related software.

Responsibilities

• Interview clients to determine eligibility for Utility Assistance programs.
• Determine eligibility and process payments from various funding sources (LIHEAP, LIHWA, etc.).
• Negotiate with utility providers to prevent disconnects and restore service.
• Enter client information and payments into statewide databases and systems of record.
• Maintain confidential client records and documentation with accuracy.
