Job summary

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing, Inc. in Brooklyn seeks a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Urology who is bilingual in Spanish to join an Article 28 Facility part-time outpatient team.

You will perform urological assessments, manage medications, and collaborate with urologists, PCPs, and other specialists. NY NP license and board certification required, with at least 1 year urology experience; Medicaid credentialing preferred.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher from an accredited NP program.
• New York NP license; board certified.
• Urology experience required; Medicaid credentialing.
• Spanish bilingual proficiency.
• Proficient in EHR and urological assessments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive urological assessments, including patient histories and focused exams.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic urological conditions.
• Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests (urinalysis, imaging studies).
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medications.
• Prescribe medications as appropriate (antibiotics, alpha-blockers, anticholinergics).
• Educate patients and families on urological conditions and preventive care.
• Collaborate with urologists and other specialists within the Facility.
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team meetings.
• Stay current with advancements in urology through continuing education.
