Job summary

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Urology for an Article 28 facility in Brooklyn, NY. The role focuses on outpatient, specialized urological care in a collaborative setting.

The candidate will conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnose and manage conditions, order tests, and educate patients. NY NP license and bilingual Spanish are required; Medicaid credentialing is preferred.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher from an accredited NP program.
• New York NP license; board-certified.
• Urology experience preferred, at least 1 year; Medicaid credentialed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive urological assessments, histories, physical exams, and focused evaluations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic urological conditions.
• Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests (urinalysis, imaging, urodynamics).
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medications.
• Prescribe medications as appropriate (antibiotics, alpha-blockers, anticholinergics).
• Educate patients and families on conditions, options, and follow-up.
• Collaborate with urologists and PCPs within the facility for coordinated care.
• Maintain thorough documentation in EMR.
• Participate in quality improvement and team meetings.
• Stay current with advances in urology.
