Job summary

The position requires an MSN or higher, NY NP licensure with board certification, and at least 1 year of urology experience with Medicaid credentialing. EHR proficiency and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• New York State NP license and board certification.
• Urology experience required, preferably 1 year; Medicaid credentialing.
• Proficient in urological assessments, diagnostics, med management, and EHRs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive urological assessments and histories.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic urological conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (urinalysis, imaging, urodynamics).
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans including meds.
• Prescribe medications as appropriate.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and care.
• Collaborate with urologists and other specialists in the facility.
