CenterWell Senior Primary Care in Orlando, FL is seeking a Triage Nurse (Registered Nurse) to assess patients, develop nursing care plans, and support urgent care operations. You will work under supervision in clinic or telephonic settings, coordinating with PCPs and mid-levels to initiate treatment when needed.

The role requires 2+ years in urgent care/ER, English/Spanish bilingual skills, IV and injection capabilities, and strong communication within a collaborative healthcare team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Urgent Care / ER experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Start an IV and initiate IV fluids.
• Give injections.
• Simple wound care.
• Insert a Foley catheter if appropriate.
• Administer aerosol treatments.
• Perform EKGs.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Work well in a team of healthcare providers.
• Associates Nursing Degree.
• Nursing Diploma.

Responsabilités

• Identify patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with patients; provide compassionate emotional support to patients, families, and friends.
• Evaluate patients with ambulatory diagnoses and possible acute conditions in partnership with mid-levels and PCPs.
• In consultation with the center's mid-levels and PCPs, initiate treatment for common ambulatory diagnoses.
• Promote patient independence by teaching care goals and self-care skills.
• Ensure quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards and evaluating health outcomes against goals and standards.
• Resolve patient problems using multidisciplinary team strategies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
