Lincoln County School District in the United States is accepting online applications for a Bilingual Tutor at Taft Elementary. The tutor will assist teaching staff, speak Spanish with Spanish-speaking students, and translate between English and Spanish for students and parents.

Duties include supporting lessons, monitoring students, communicating with parents, and helping with records. This is an 8-hour per school day position with a starting hourly salary of $20.12–$22.21, plus excellent

Qualifications

Must meet NCLB requirements at time of hire.
Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
Experience assisting teachers in classroom settings.

Responsabilités

Assists students under direction of a teacher, individually or in groups, with lesson assignments to present or reinforce learning concepts.
Presents subject matter under direction of a teacher using methods such as lectures, discussions, and role playing.
Tests students' progress as directed by the teacher.
Communicates with Spanish-speaking parents regarding students' progress.
Assists staff with other educational programs and projects.
Assists with record keeping, copying, filing and grading papers.
Provides Spanish language interpretation when needed (IEPs, conferences, parent meetings, etc.).
