Doorways is seeking a full-time Therapist in Arlington, VA to provide trauma-informed individual and group counseling to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. The Revive Counseling Program supports clients of varying ages in diverse settings, including telehealth and in-office.

Qualifications include a master's degree in social work or related field, 2+ years in social services, and bilingual Spanish. Must be licensed eligible in Virginia and have reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed eligible in the Commonwealth of Virginia (Resident in Counseling, Supervisee in Social Work, or Resident in Clinical Psychology); License preferred (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC).
• 2+ years of work experience in social services and mental health-related fields; direct experience with trauma survivors or similar fields.
• Bilingual in Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver trauma-informed, individual psychotherapy and group counseling to survivors and their families.
• Maintain a caseload of 20-25 active clients as approved by leadership.
• Perform initial and ongoing mental health assessments to identify needs.
• Develop safety and treatment plans tailored to diverse populations.
