Job summary

NAFI Connecticut, Inc. is seeking a bilingual Therapist for adolescents with problem sexual behavior to deliver intensive community-based treatment. The MST PSB Therapist will work with families to implement safety plans, guide treatment phases, and educate on sexual boundaries, with training in MST and PSB adaptations.

Roles are primarily in-person in home or community settings. The position requires a CT license and entails 12 sessions weekly across multiple regions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Social Work.
• Active CT licensure: LPCA/LPC, LMFTA/LMFT, LMSW/LCSW.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with referral sources and maintain a positive, strength-focused outlook.
• Flex schedule to achieve work-life balance.
• Work around caregiver work schedules; regular evening availability is essential.
• Autonomy in structuring your workday with a full caseload, outside agency meetings and trainings.
• Provide services across multiple regions with the Agency Vehicle (Manchester, Middletown, Willimantic, Norwich).
• Time management to meet with families 3x/week (12 sessions weekly).
• Communicate with schools, DCF, Juvenile Probation, or other community agencies; phone on-call 1 week every 7 to 10 weeks.
• Participate in ongoing individual and group supervision to support professional growth.
• Attend trainings in PSB Treatment.
• Document utilizing our Electronic Health Record in a timely manner.
• Proficient in Outlook calendar management and writing client reports.
