The counselor will implement a comprehensive guidance program to support academic and personal growth, collaborating with staff and families. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Masters in School Counseling required.
• Thorough knowledge of the Oregon Framework for Guidance and Counseling and the ASCA National Model.
• Holds an appropriate license from Teacher Standards and Practices Commission in the State of Oregon and the required endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a comprehensive guidance program including classroom guidance, individual and small group counseling, and crisis support.
• Coordinate college and career planning and parent/teacher conferences; support students’ academic and personal growth.
• Advise and collaborate with teachers and families; promote school climate and student advocacy.
