Job summary

Gresham-Barlow School District is seeking a Counselor for a Middle School, temporarily assigned for the 2026-2027 school year. The position requires an Oregon K-12 school counselor license and a current First Aid Card, with Spanish language preference.

The role is 0.50 FTE at Clear Creek Middle School with 183 contract days. Salary is prorated by FTE and start/end dates. A multilingual stipend of $953 may be available for qualifying language certification.

Qualifications

• Licensed School Counselor in Oregon with K-12 authorization.
• Current First Aid Card required.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Counsels students, parents, and guardians to support transition planning and graduation goals.
• Coordinates with teachers, specialists, and community services to gather information and provide recommendations.
• Develops placement plans and documents for student progress and college eligibility.
