Job summary

Wolf Greenfield in the Electrical & Computer Technologies (ECT) group seeks Entry-Level Technology Specialists fluent in English and Korean (written and spoken). The role can be based in Boston, New York, or Washington, DC, or fully remote.

You will review disclosures, search literature and patent databases, draft assessments and patent applications, respond to USPTO communications, and develop arguments for patentability.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or a related field
• Fluency in both English and Korean (written and spoken)
• Sound judgment, maturity, and a strong work ethic with ability to juggle multiple responsibilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate in teams

Responsibilities

• Review technical disclosures and participate in client interviews to understand new inventions
• Search literature and patent databases to determine patentability of inventions
• Draft written assessments of prospects for obtaining patent protection
• Write patent applications
• Prepare responses to communications from the USPTO
• Develop arguments for patentability to Patent Office Examiners
• Review patents as part of IP due diligence for acquisitions or mergers
