Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Social Work with an active Substance Abuse Counseling Certification.
• If Social Worker, must have a valid license to practice.
• Certification of training on addiction to drugs, alcohol and related services.
• Bilingual with writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform targeted evaluations of clients' substance abuse among project participants.
• Conduct initial interviews to determine needs and maintain client social reports.
• Provide individual and group therapies for substance abuse.
• Develop and monitor treatment plans and service delivery.
• Assist with service planning with the Social Worker and participate in court visits if required.
• Maintain client notes and complete daily reports and drug tests.
