Bridgeway Community Health seeks a qualified Bilingual Substance Abuse Counselor for its Outpatient treatment team in Salem, Oregon. The role emphasizes client-centered care, motivational interviewing, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s degree or higher in Human Services and CADC I or higher certification with MHACBO, with 1–3 years of addiction counseling experience. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities offered.

Formación

• Requires an Associate's Degree or higher in Human Services or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Generally 1–3 years of drug & alcohol addiction counseling experience.
• CADC I or higher certification required with MHACBO.

Responsabilidades

• Provides client centered care utilizing evidence-based and trauma informed services.
• Uses motivational interviewing to establish therapeutic rapport and engage clients.
• Conducts assessment interviews using the ASAM and DSM-5.
• Works with other providers to ensure seamless services.
• Provides evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address treatment goals.
• Facilitates evidenced based groups and conducts individual counseling sessions.
• Types and maintains timely and accurate documentation (group notes, individual notes, status reports).
• Monitors random urinalysis testing and reports.
• Completes monthly status reports for all clients on caseload.
