Job summary

Panasonic Corporation of North America seeks a Sr. Planning Analyst to support business planning, performance management, and strategic initiatives. You will drive forecasts, plans, and KPI dashboards and coordinate cross-functionally with Sales, Product Management, and Finance to align priorities.

Responsibilities include leading planning, forecasting, and scenario analyses, plus supporting the SAP implementation and process improvements across departments.

Qualifications

• A four-year degree in business/marketing or a related field is preferred.
• 5-8 years of experience as a Planning Analyst, in Supply Chain, or an equivalent role.
• Experience within the manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
• Japanese speaking, reading and writing is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead business planning and performance management activities to support the company's strategic objectives and long-term growth.
• Develop annual business plans, rolling forecasts, KPI dashboards, and management reviews.
• Analyze business performance, identify risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations to management for decision-making.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Finance, and business divisions to align business strategies and execution plans.
• Develop demand forecasts, sales outlooks, and scenario analyses utilizing data from SAP, CRM, and other systems.
• Monitor key business indicators including sales, inventory, backlog, and pipeline performance.
• Serve as a key Planning representative for the FY27 SAP implementation project.
