Job summary

TitleMax in Houston, TX seeks a bilingual Substore Manager (ASM) to lead customer service and financial transactions while growing leadership skills. You will manage accounts, assist customers, and help monitor risk in a busy store environment.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in customer service or retail, 3+ months supervisory experience, and strong communication. A full-time, in-person role with a 40-hour week is expected, with growth opportunities across the brand family.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish/English required to connect with customers.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in customer service, sales or retail.
• At least 3 months supervisory or key holder experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with phones, POS system, and Microsoft Office.
• Must have valid driver's license and auto insurance, with access to a vehicle.
• Must be at least 18 (19 in AL) and pass background checks.
• Must be able to meet physical demands (standing, moving up to 25 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Maximize customer success by offering suitable financial services.
• Assess risk and accurately process loan/pawn applications and check cashing.
• Conduct daily campaigns to market services and build business.
• Oversee account management and collection calls while keeping customer service focus.
• Maintain accurate customer data in the POS system.
• Provide coaching to Customer Service Representatives to ensure quality.
• Occasionally perform offsite duties and store errands.
• Support leadership in achieving performance standards and compliance.
