Job description

This position is essential to the success of our retail stores. Customer Service Specialists work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the right solutions. Customer Service Specialists are also expected to promptly resolve any customer concerns and ensure maximum client satisfaction, as well as stay up-to-date with product features and maintain the high quality and visual standards of the products and store.

Customer Service Specialists are tasked with achieving excellent customer service while consistently meeting the store's sales goals.

The selected individual will work at Store #2193, located at 5869 Atlantic Ave Ste A1, Delray Beach, FL 33484. Job duties involve contact with customers, including minors; access to cash, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise, and other items of value, which may be supervised or unsupervised. Therefore, a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business, its operations, reputation, and the safety of customers, staff, employees, vendors, contractors, and the public.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Legally authorized to work in the country without sponsorship
• Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
• Ability to retrieve materials from shelves and lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Willingness to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends
• If internal, received at least a “meets expectations” (3) rating on the most recent performance appraisal
• Completed all required HR Cloud eLearning courses

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• At least 1 year experience in delivery, retail, or customer service
• Experience selling paint and related products
• Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
• Ability to communicate in more than one language, especially Spanish
