Job description

Store associates work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend appropriate solutions. They are also responsible for resolving customer concerns promptly to ensure maximum satisfaction, staying updated on product features, and maintaining high standards of quality and visual presentation in the store. The role emphasizes delivering excellent customer service while consistently meeting sales goals.

Job duties include customer interaction, which may involve minors; access to cash, electronic equipment, personal information, merchandise, and other valuable items. Access may be supervised or unsupervised. To protect the business, its operations, reputation, and the safety of customers, staff, vendors, and the public, a review of criminal history is conducted.

This is a PART-TIME position based at Store #8600, located at 816 Pico Blvd, Santa Monica, CA 90405.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Legally authorized to work in the country without sponsorship
• Able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English and Spanish
• Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service
• Experience selling paint and related products
• Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
