Job description

Store associates work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend appropriate solutions. They are also responsible for resolving customer concerns promptly to ensure maximum satisfaction, staying updated on product features, and maintaining high standards of product quality and store appearance. The role emphasizes delivering excellent customer service while meeting sales goals.

Job duties include contact with customers, which may involve minors; access to cash, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise, and other valuables. Access may be supervised or unsupervised. The company reviews criminal history to protect its operations, reputation, and the safety of customers, staff, employees, vendors, contractors, and the public.

This is a PART-TIME position located at Store #1832, 5801 Lincoln Ave., Buena Park, CA 90620.

Qualifications Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Legally authorized to work without sponsorship now or in the future
• Able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English and Spanish
• Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodations
• Willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without accommodations

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service
• Experience selling paint and related products
• Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
