Requirements

1. Six months of accountable cash handling/transaction management in a retail or customer service environment
2. Successful completion of the FCBI Step Program for internal employees
3. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and get along with co-workers
4. Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedules are subject to change)
5. High school diploma, high school equivalency, or current high school attendance
6. At least 18 years of age
7. Successful background investigation
8. Bilingual in English and Spanish

Job Description

Under immediate supervision, provides exceptional customer service involving receipt and payment of cash in a high-volume sales environment. Responsibilities include:

1. Following bank policies and supervisor instructions
2. Achieving monthly new account production targets
3. Processing deposits and payments accurately, balancing daily transactions
4. Verifying cash and checks, including endorsements and counterfeit detection
5. Entering transactions and issuing receipts
6. Selling and preparing various banking products such as money orders, cashier's checks, wires, bonds, travelers' checks, and CDs
7. Processing Western Union wires and cash advances
8. Cross-selling bank services and products
9. Serving a diverse customer base, including Spanish speakers
10. Performing additional tasks as assigned by supervisors

Environmental and Physical Requirements

1. Standing or walking for extended periods
2. Working in a high-volume, stressful, and noisy environment
3. Operating computers and office machinery
4. Lifting up to 25 lbs
