Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide pediatric speech therapy in the home or daytime facility for ages 0-21, with regular visits 2+ times per week.

You will conduct assessments, interpret results, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to set patient goals and tailor interventions. Spanish bilingual skills are preferred to serve a diverse caseload.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC-SLP credential and Texas licensure required.
• Experience in pediatrics; home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy in the home or daytime facility for patients aged 0-21, 2+ times weekly.
• Assess, define, and document speech, language, voice, and related impairments using appropriate tests.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written reports.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to plan goals and interventions.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients with training and resources.
• May supervise Clinical Fellows or SLPA if you have 3+ years of experience.

Requirements:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or University
• Successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship year, CCC-SLP
• License to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Texas
• Experience in pediatrics required
• Home health experience preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders
• Define patients degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports
• In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct team in specific speech therapy modalities and interventions
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with a total speech therapy program
• May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience
