Qualifications

• Experience in pediatrics required.
• Home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services to patients aged 0-21 years.
• Define patients' degree and type of impairments with appropriate testing.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare reports.
• Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team on patient goals.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients with training materials.
• Supervise Clinical Fellows or Assistants with 3+ years of experience.

Requirements

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or University

• Experience in pediatrics required

• Bilingual in Spanish

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders
• Define patients degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports
• In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct team in specific speech therapy modalities and interventions
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with a total speech therapy program
• May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience
