Job summary

Children’s Specialized ABA in Newark, NJ is seeking a full‑time Speech-Language Pathologist to join a multidisciplinary team providing assessments, diagnoses, and treatment for speech, language, and communication within ABA services.

The role requires a Master’s in Speech‑Language Pathology, current state licensure, and 2+ years in language development. Fluency in Spanish and English is preferred for family collaboration and evaluation reports.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current state licensure as SLP required.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• 2+ years in language development and speech disorders required.
• Experience with AAC preferred.
• Experience working with children with ASD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to assess communication skills.
• Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with ABA objectives.
• Implement evidence‑based speech therapies to promote language development.
• Tailor interventions for children with ASD to improve functional communication.
• Collaborate with BCBA and clinical team on treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, plans, progress notes and reports.
