Job summary

Children’s Specialized ABA, based in Newark, NJ, is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication within an ABA-powered care team. You will collaborate with BCBA and clinicians, conduct evaluations, document progress, and prepare integrated reports.

Candidates must hold a Master’s in SLP, state licensure, and bilingual Spanish-English abilities. The Newark EI Center hours are 8:30am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• 2+ years of experience in language development, speech sound disorders, and feeding/oral motor skills preferred.
• 2+ years of experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) preferred.
• 2+ years of experience working with children with ASD.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication within ABA services.
• Administer standardized tools, scoring, documenting, and contributing to integrated evaluation reports.
• Collaborate with BCBA and clinical professionals to create and adjust treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Prepare reports summarizing progress and outcomes to share with parents and stakeholders.
