Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics in Texas is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to empower students and support districts with reliable evaluation and therapy services. You’ll conduct comprehensive assessments, develop IEP-aligned interventions with ARD, and provide therapy or supervision, ensuring progress and meaningful access to education.

With a Master’s in SLP, Texas licensure, CCC-SLP, and bilingual skills, you’ll join a mission-driven team committed to growth and student success.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
  • Active license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • Bilingual language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate Needs: Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify students’ needs for specialized therapy services.
  • Communicate Findings: Share evaluation results with parents and district personnel, ensuring clear and compassionate communication.
  • Develop Interventions: Collaborate with the ARD committee to create targeted, evidence-based therapeutic interventions that enhance student performance, participation, and access to education.
  • Provide Therapy: Deliver therapy services directly or supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants in implementing IEP goals.
  • Monitor Progress: Maintain accurate, detailed records of student progress and use data to adjust interventions as needed.
  • Support Team: Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and other relevant discussions to advocate for and support students’ special education programs.
