The position requires a Master's or higher in Speech-Language Pathology, active Texas licensure, and ASHA CCC-SLP certification, with bilingual proficiency.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Active licensure to practice as an SLP in Texas.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
• Bilingual language proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech-language needs of students through comprehensive assessments.
• Communicate findings clearly with parents and district personnel.
• Collaborate with ARD committee to design evidence-based interventions.
• Provide direct therapy or supervise SLPAs to implement IEP goals.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Participate in ARD meetings and parent conferences to advocate for students.
