Job summary

North-Texas-Therapy-and-Home-Car is seeking a bilingual SLPA for full-time work in Texas. The role requires English/Spanish fluency, current SLPA licensure, and at least 6 months of clinical experience in pediatric settings.

Home health experience is preferred to support patients in their homes or daytime facilities. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, follow physician orders, and participate in supervision visits with the SLP per Texas guidelines, while actively expanding your

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in the patients home or daytime facility.
• Schedules weekly supervision visit(s) with his/her supervising SLP according to Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
• Plans for care to meet goals of the speech therapy interventions.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
• Enhances speech therapy reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
