Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate with technical training in special education.
• DPI certification provided by employee.
• Bilingual English and Spanish language skills (demonstrated through a language proficiency test).
• CPR, non-violent crisis intervention, and first aid certifications.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in meeting IEP/504 goals and collect related data.
• Lead small groups and one-on-one instruction using bilingual language.
• Support communication between students, staff, and families to reduce language barriers.
• Prepare notes and materials for substitutes and maintain health logs.
