PRACTICE Benefit Corp. is seeking Education Champions to provide targeted, in-person tutoring for 3rd–5th grade students in Temporary Housing during the school day.

You will support Math, Reading, Writing, Social Studies, Science, and Regents prep, working with teachers to deliver engaging, personalized learning strategies that help students thrive academically and personally.

Qualifications

• Passion for learning and dedication to underserved students.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA in Education or relevant field.
• Available to work 10–35 hours per week at assigned school(s).
• Collaborative mindset to work with teachers and school leaders.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person tutoring for 3rd–5th graders in Temporary Housing.
• Tutor core subjects: Math, Reading, Writing, Social Studies, Science, Regents prep.
• Collaborate with teachers and school leaders to tailor learning strategies.
• Maintain flexible schedule (10–35 hours/week) to fit program needs.

About the Job:

Bilingual Spanish speaking tutors will provide targeted, in-person academic support for 3rd-5th grade Students in Temporary Housing (STH) during the school day. The program will run on Tuedays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8 am to 2:30 pm.
