Job summary

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Massachusetts Certification in Foreign Language Instruction required.
• 3 years’ teaching experience preferred.
• Strong commitment to educational equity for linguistic minority students.

Responsibilities

• Teach students to read and write in Spanish.
• Provide the instructional program for a Dual-Language program.
• Ensure consistent discipline and integrate with instruction.
• Participate in monthly RTI meetings.
• Meet weekly with grade-level teachers to support bilingual skills.
• Assist with standardized test administration or translation.
• Communicate with parents to foster home-school partnership.
• Engage in school-based professional learning and technology updates.
• Pursue ongoing professional development per plan.
• Provide reference letters for high school admissions.
