Job summary

Symphony ABA in Ashburn, VA is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to implement ABA-based care plans and assist clients with daily living skills. The role requires bilingual Spanish-speaking capabilities and compassion for individuals with developmental disabilities.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, monitor client progress, and maintain HIPAA-compliant records while supporting therapy sessions and family education.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish-speaking required.
• Experience with developmental disabilities or autism preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and behavioral health practices advantageous.
• Familiarity with ABA care plans and applied behavior analysis principles.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized care plans based on ABA principles.
• Assist clients in daily living activities, promoting independence and skill development.
• Monitor and document client behavior and progress, maintaining accurate records.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust treatment strategies.
• Provide support during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
• Educate clients and their families about behavioral health concepts and strategies.
• Uphold confidentiality standards in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
