Job summary

Clarvida is seeking a Bilingual Spanish Peer Support Specialist for an on-site, full-time role in California. The position offers a recovery-oriented, community-based approach and requires lived experience with mental health services, a Peer Specialist Certificate, and a valid CA driver’s license.

You will mentor clients, coordinate resources, and collaborate with the treatment team to improve outcomes. Salary offered is $25/hour with benefits including PTO, sick leave, holidays, insurance

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Peer Specialist Certificate required.
• Lived experience as a consumer of mental health services or as a support person.
• Bilingual in Spanish required.
• Valid California driver’s license and active auto insurance.
• Prior behavioral health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide mentoring and peer support to consumers in community and program settings.
• Assist clients in developing daily living skills and accessing resources.
• Advocate, coordinate, and provide side-by-side support.
• Support clients in problem-solving and recovery goals.
• Maintain documentation in compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to enhance outcomes.
