Metropolitan Public Defender Services, Inc in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a Spanish Language Interpreter & Translator to convert oral speech and written text across legal and medical contexts, including attorney-client communication and court notices.

The role also involves some reception/phone support. Must have at least 1 year translating/interpreting and be fluent in English and Spanish. Union staff, confidentiality, and office duties in Washington County.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience translating and interpreting (minimum 1 year).
• Experience in legal or social service field preferred.

Responsabilités

• Translate oral speech and written text in legal and medical contexts.
• Provide interpretation for MPD staff, clients, and others in various settings.
• Assist with reception and phone-related tasks.
